Stage 1: Short HR call Stage 2: Video interview with manager of the role Following stage 2 of the interview I was then not contacted for 2 weeks to be informed of the outcome. It took for me to try to contact the HR representative on multiple occasions to finally be informed that I wasn't successful. I strongly believe that if I hadn"t actively sought out feedback that I would never have been contacted. This experience was especially disappointing as I had been referred by a current Illumina employee. For such a large and well-resourced company with dedicated recruitment staff and departments I think its actually quite disrespectful to candidates to treat them like this. People take time off from their current jobs etc. and Illumina can't sacrifice 2 minutes of their time to drop them an email or a phone call to let them know the outcome. Just as well, I'd probably have been made redundant within 3 months anyway with the way they're running the place at the moment.
