Interview
There was a 3 Phases.
Phase 1: "Codility" test (for 90 minutes), which I passed.
Phase 2: They asked me to send some code written by me and I did, which got reviewed from their side and then I became qualified to the next phase.
Phase 3: 2 hours of Skype interviews which is divided on 2 interviews the first is 90 minutes technical interview and the second is 30 minutes interview with the manager.
************ Conclusion *********
Eventually, I got rejected because my knowledge of Javascript is not good enough! (However, the only question I was asked about JS is "From a scale from 1 to 5... How do you rate your JS knowledge?!!!")
I replied back with my comment about It is not honest enough to reject me for something (JavaScript) I have never been tested against, but I never heard back from them.

Question 1
However the interview was about Senior Java Position, I just asked a couple of questions about Java and nothing about Javascript.
The interview questions were about:
1. Data structure and algorithms (30 minutes)
2. Operating Systems Concepts (System calls, concurrency, etc, Device Drivers.)
3. TCP/IP Layered protocol ( I was really really good at this when I was in college :) )
Till now about 1 hour or more passed from the 90 minutes interview...
4. Couple of questions about REST, Java Concurrency and Testing
I could understand the emphasis on the OS, algorithms design and analysis is to be asked at Google & Amazon-like companies or to be asked to a fresh engineer he is just graduated from the university with a fresh knowledge.
I am not denying their questions about OS, Data structure, and algorithms, but to make most on the interview for such topics and eventually got rejected because my knowledge in JavaScript is not enough is not honesty in reporting the Interview status.
I answered the algorithms question and OS, TCP/IP from memory (which mostly wasn't that accurate as I left university more than 10 years back).

Interview
After the initial phone call, I received a Java - spring assignment project as Backend application for bank loan process that employees can create, list and pay loans for their customers.
I developed it as they described but without extra points and a few test cases.
They gave feedback a brief negative response without any detail, in response to my follow up mail asking the application's status.

Interview
Ik had onlangs een sollicitatiegesprek bij ING Bank waarin ik werd geïnterviewd door iemand die zich presenteerde als senior engineer en chapter lead. Tijdens het gesprek kreeg ik onder andere vragen over Kafka en performance tuning. Wat me opviel, was dat één van de interviewers gedurende het hele gesprek zat te grijnzen, wat ik als enigszins ongemakkelijk ervoer.
Daarnaast vond het volledige gesprek in het Engels plaats; niemand sprak Nederlands, ondanks dat het om een functie in Nederland ging. Dat verraste me, aangezien ING van oorsprong een Nederlandse bank is.
Deze ervaring gaf mij de indruk dat er weinig aandacht is voor de lokale context en cultuur, wat ik persoonlijk jammer vind.
Het verzoek om mijn scherm te delen zonder voorafgaande waarschuwing was problematisch vanwege de privacygevoelige informatie die zichtbaar was. Ik adviseer de bank om hun interviewmethodiek beter af te stemmen op de huidige privacywetgeving (AVG) om de professionaliteit te waarborgen

Then I received a technical interview meeting to discuss the task.
I discussed the task and answered general questions about OOP, Java etc.
