I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hyland (Westlake, OH) in Feb 2015
Interview
I had an interview with HR over the phone that just went over my skillset. Then I had an interview over Skype the beginning of December. I waited and waited and finally contacted them again and was told that the Christmas season had put a halt to things and that I would hear from them soon. Around the end of January, I was asked to fly in for an interview. They paid for the room and flight. They asked me to prepare a presentation.
When I first got there, I was asked to take a computer skills test. It was pretty easy with questions like "what does HTML stand for?' and things like that.
I had been an OnBase admin for the last 4 years so I did screenshots of the lastest workflow and unity forms I had built and presented that. There were only 2 people in the presentation and it wound up being more of a conversation. After the interview about a week later I was told they were starting on my background check that took over a week. Then they offered me the job of a technical consultant instead of a project manager. They wanted me to spend a year in the field before taking on a PM role. I agreed to it.
The interview process, although long, went pretty smooth and Hyland did an outstanding job of managing the trip out to Cleveland.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked a sports questions and I know nothing about sports. I think it was "how do you feel about so-and-so leaving this team and going to that team?'
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland (Cleveland, OH) in Nov 2021
Interview
Senior Project Manager
Removed my name from consideration after a disjointed interview.
The recruiter and interviewers did not seem to be on the same page. It felt like they were interviewing for different positions.
The lack of internal alignment was a concern.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
90% of the questions had do with network engineering and data security, and if I had those certifications. None of which were in the job description or mentioned by the recruiter (or on my resume).
This was after starting the interview stating that they were looking for a skilled PMs and not technical subject matter experts.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland (Kansas City, MO) in Oct 2020
Interview
First interview was a phone screen. 2nd interview was with two managers. 3rd interview was with the hiring manager. Everyone was very professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. It was a great process.

Question 1
Can you explain why you’re wanting to leave your current position?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland (Cleveland, OH) in Sep 2019
Interview
Transparent and quick; the recruiter I dealt with was amazingly helpful in guiding me through the process. I never wondered where I stood or felt under-prepared. I never felt like I was being "over-interviewed" like with other companies that seem to drag the process out unnecessarily
