I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Humana (Louisville, KY) in Oct 2009
Interview
This was a new type of interview process. I had three meetings, two 1 on 1's and one group meeting. The group meeting was with the people who would have been my peers. They was zero issue with the information exchange at this point. They asked about my technical background and I was able to easily provide the information they needed. The first 1 on 1 interveiw was with the manager I would be reporting. The perspective of the interview I would say would be like a personnality test. I was told it would help them understand if I was a good fit in their team. The questions that were asked required you to think of the best and worse situations you have been in and describe what you did in that situation. The second 1 on 1 felt staged, I interviewed with the manager two levels above the position. The Interviewer must not have a good night sleep or soemthing. They were yawning the whole time. It didn't seem they were even listening to my answers.
From my perspective, the group provided positive feedback and the direct manager provided negative feedback. I have no idea what the 2nd level manager really thought of the interview.
It was weeks later before I heard back about this attempt.
