I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Nov 2019
Interview
The process was very straightforward and the HubSpot recruiter kept me constantly updated throughout the process. The process took about 3+ weeks. After submitting my resume, I was contacted for a 30 minute phone interview with the recruiter. It was really just basic questions about my resume and getting to know more about me. She got back to me a few days later (she told me when I would hear from her by and to follow up if I didnt hear anything by a specific day) and told me that I made it to the next round which was an 30 minute phone interview with the manager of that department. Again it was questions about me and my background to make sure I was the right fit for the position. Four or five days later I was invited to come to their office for a longer interview. While it was not necessarily a hard in-person interview it was long- about 2 hours meeting with 4 different people on the team. Even though it was long it was important to get to know everyone on their team and again make sure it was the right fit. Everyone I met was easygoing and the questions were straightforward. The recruiter told me I would hear back within a week but contacted me the next day with an offer. It was one of the best interview experiences I have had.
