I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2018
Interview
Following my online application, I was quickly offered a phone screen with one of HubSpot's recruiters, Tania. This lasted approximately 20 minutes, at the end of which she confirmed that she would be happy to pass me on for a further phone interview with one of their Channel Consultant Managers.
This second interview (one week later) consisted of a more in-depth 30 min. conversation about my qualifications and relevant experience, including a couple of STAR-formatted questions. We then carried out 2x 15 min. role play exercises where I had to demonstrate reaching out and engaging with existing HubSpot customers. Roleplays are always a slightly awkward experience, but I also received some great feedback during this stage.
A few days later I was finally invited in to HubSpot's Dublin office (the following week) for a round of face-to-face interviews. This involved meeting with 4 different staff members from the Channel Consultant team in back-to-back 30 minute sessions, where I was again interviewed using the STAR technique. Despite being an intense 2-hour experience, the interviewers all maintained a great enthusiasm and managed the whole process with transparency.
I felt positive coming out of this third stage interview, but unfortunately in this instance I was contacted the following day with news that HubSpot would not be proceeding any further with my application.
I would advise candidates to prepare well for the STAR interview technique, and to complete at least the basic online certificates through HubSpot Academy.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HubSpot
Interview
Fair interview timeframe but once you move up in the interviewing process you’re given a project which you are to present at the final round. You are basically given a scenario much like one you’d have if you were in the role. Your job is to be creative but efficient in your problem solving skills.

Question 1
Describe a time you dealt with a challenging client and how would you do things differently if that conversation resulted in client dissatisfaction.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HubSpot (Sydney) in Aug 2020
Interview
After applying online I was contacted by HS's internal recruiter for Sydney. We arranged a time to call. After 20 minutes of questions about my experience we discussed salary expectations. We were way off, not in the same ball park and I was impressed that the recruiter called it there & then, showing great Transparancy, a key HS trait.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2020
Interview
I had an initial phone screen and then met with the hiring manager. Both went well. I was asked the standard questions for an initial interview — mainly checking for mutual fit, previous work experience review etc. unfortunately, this was 2020 and the hiring process froze right there and I never heard back.
