I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
It was very competitive and was chosen out of nearly 800 applicants. I had sold an a contract with a prior company to the father-in-law of the interviewing branch manager. The branch manager wanted to know how I did that as he was trying to accomplish the same task for years. The father-in-law was a Facility Director for a large organization.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Honeywell (Arizona City, AZ) in Jan 2022
Interview
They like to make you wait. You can’t even get an interview. They look at your resume and leave it there. I have been applying for jobs at Honeywell over a year and I get the same run around.
The first interview was a "video" interview. Essentially it is a monologue. One you log in to the portal, you are served up questions on the screen. You film an intro and can film a close, both of which you can re-record until you are happy with the response. They ask 3 questions that require manual input and 5 where you are given 30 seconds to think about your answer and then the camera starts rolling. Once you press stop, there is no re-record.
