I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HitFox Group (Berlin) in Jan 2014
Interview
Very easy, I was referred internally through a shared network. Hitfox is a very relationships based process, if you know the right people, you are already 70% getting the job opportunity. They follow up with an in person interview with the relevant leadership team, you meet HR and they mainly close the deal with the salary discussion, so if you name a number too low, they doubt your credibility, if you go too high, they might question the investment but if you go mid-range and have a referral from someone that has influence over internal decision makes, the ink is verbally dry. They might take their time a bit just so you felt it was an honor to receive an offer due to their selective talent process. Their HR engagement is very spray and pray method then hire and fire if all goes terribly wrong.

Interview
Very fast and easy. Contacted me on LinkedIn, emailed, phone calls, met hiring managers and then given an offer. Later I found out the management team heard about me though a mutual contact and former employee. The CEO was familiar with my former employer so he verified my background was strong.

Interview
I got a response 4 weeks (!!!) after the application. The process was rather long and dragged out. I had interviews with 3 different people, who asked almost the same questions so I did not really see the point. The first interview with HR was a general interview. The girl had absolutely no knowledge from my area of expertise, yet she was entitled to push me forward or reject me in the process. Obviously she memorized some questions and possible answers but when I started to go into details she backed off and changed the topic. It positioned the company rather unprofessional. I went through the whole process which consisted of a lot of unnecessary steps (online tests, case study), and at the end I received an offer with a ridiculous amount of salary.

Interview
After sending in my CV and cover letter, I was invited for a skype Interview, to be followed by interviews with managers and a case study. Apart from the usual set of questions about myself and my relevant background, the interview consisted of a few brain teasers. They also put a strong focus on grades; both high school and university grades.
