The interview process was quick and not too difficult. A recruiter reached out the day after I submitted my application and did a quick phone screening. The next week, I had a video call with the recruiter and the hiring manager, both of whom were lovely and asked fairly standard interview questions. Up to this point, I had a very positive experience. Then I had to complete a marketing assignment, which was sent several days after they told me that it would be, which then meant I had to complete it during the work week vs over the weekend as had originally been discussed. The assignment felt a bit overkill given the pay rate and nature of the role... and especially given that I have a portfolio where they could easily see my work. The following week, I received an automated rejection email, which really frustrated me given that I had spent time on a video call with two people and had spent nearly 2 hours doing a project that I received no feedback on.
