Question 1
What steps would you follow if you to troubleshoot the internet being offline in an office?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&R Block (Fresno, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
There was only one interview. It was conducted by a Senior Field Service Technician and the Regional Technology Manager who had both come from out-of-town for the day. They asked about my IT background, if I had any Information Technology certificates and/or degrees, and why I wanted to work for H & R Block. I believe the greatest reason I was hired, was for my emphasis on customer service. I said something like, "My passion is that not a single tax preparer would be unable to do his job due to technology related problems."

Question 1
One of two of the questions assumed an understanding of the complex and changing IT staffing environment. "What would you do if you had to make a strategic decision but could not get hold of your immediate supervisor or his supervisor?"
