Zenpayoll's interview process is a blend of you and the company. As they get to know you, through at first a short phone interview and then second a series of one minute video clips you record answering questions through the Sparkhire App, you get to understand the values of the company. The culmination of this back-and-forth process is a take-home assignment where you draft sample e-mails for seemingly simple issues (which show a bit of the companies flair for fun, as half of them reference the TV Show 'Archer'). The solutions to these hypothetical can all be found on the company website, and act as a good test towards the dedication, research ability, and reading comprehension of the interviewee. The interactions I had with the hiring representative has been nothing but pleasant, positive, and supportive. I actually feel like she WANTS me to get the job, as opposed to other companies that speak to you like they're wholly unimpressed by your interest. I don't know whether or not Zenpayroll will be my future place of work, but 3/4s of the way through the process... man. I genuinely hope it is.
