Interview
- I was referred by someone I went to college with that works at Groupon.
- A recruiter emailed me shortly after and set up a phone interview. It was just a screening asking about my resume/experience and why I wanted to work in sales at Groupon.
- We set up an in person interview at the Chicago office for a few days after the phone screen.
- I was greeted by a recruiter and they showed me the office and then set me in a room to wait for two sales managers to interview me.
- The interview was fairly simple. They pretty much asked me about my experience and why I wanted a career in sales. They didn't ask me anything about Groupon, which I was prepared for because I was told they ask a lot of questions about Groupon.

I interviewed with multiple people and all were very friendly. One of the people who interviewed me became my boss. Casual and upbeat experience. Everyone I met was positive and I enjoyed the whole process.

Interview
Recruited via LinkedIn and had a phone screening the next day. Phone screening was very easy--we discussed previous work experience and lots of 'tell me about a time when' questions. At the end of the screening, I was invited to an on-site interview later in the week where I met with the recruiter in person as well as the department lead and regional inbound sales manager. Some overlap here with more in-depth questions about my previous experience and how I handle certain situations. They got back to me in a few days with an offer. While everyone I spoke with was very friendly and the office was super laid back and youthful, I felt I would fit better somewhere else.

Behavioral. Consists of meeting with different people and observing the daily roles. The individuals asked a series of behavioral questions about previous experience/ how you could contribute to the company.
