I had the online application and was then invited to have a telephone interview, which was friendly and laid back, general interview questions. I was then invited to the assessment day, there were 15 of us with 8 places for 2 different roles. The day was filled with fun group tasks and one interview and a presentation with five employees. All employees are very nice, they test you but are nice about it. Seems like such a fun place to work, really great introduction to the company. The assessment day was on Thursday and I was contacted the following Tuesday with the job offer, which I accepted.

I applied through email and then had a 10mins phone interview. The recruited asked about my previous experience and a few questions about sales. He liked what he heard then offered me a place at the assessment day. The assessment day was filled with 22 hopefuls which was very relaxed and fun. It starts off with a long presentation about who Groupon are and then you have to do an ice breaker (your name and something interesting about you). Then you have 2 fun tasks activities (these are just there to assess your personality) This activities are the most crucial part to the whole assessment. 1st activity is "who would you save if you only had 3 spaces on a boat" So you have to decide as a team (this is about how you negotiate). 2nd activity is about morals. A friend and you commit a crime, what do you do? You're given 3 options so you need to negotiate and choose wisely. Then you have to do a 3 minute presentation/pitch on why you want a career in sales and then a last activity which doesn't need explaining. It's just a fun exercise.
