It took about a week. I contacted a recruiter and she set me up with an Senior Associate. Being my first interview, I did not expect some of the questions. Phone interview: basic questions, be more professional over personal at all times. He was friendly and made me at ease, but not enough preparation. Asked tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, something about yourself not on the resume.

I applied through the ACCA Employer website under the Penang branch.
The interview process took place on 8 January 2026 and consisted of three stages on the same day:
1) Filling up an application form
2) Completing an assessment
3) An interview with the Director, only 1 person involve
The interview was conducted in a casual and conversational manner. Questions mainly focused on self-introduction, reasons for leaving my previous job, and an explanation regarding a six-month career break. I was also given the opportunity to ask questions.
As of 19 January 2026, I have not yet received any update regarding the outcome.
