I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Manhattan, KS)
Interview
I met with Grant Thornton at the career fair and had a conversation with them. I was later asked to interview for their summer leadership program. The interview consisted of two different partners and you were with each for 30 mins. This interview was nothing more than a conversation, and we went over my resume a little bit. I received an offer for the Summer Leadership program about a week later.
The first round of interviews was a group interview with four people, followed by an English essay. Neither the interview questions nor the essay topic had anything to do with auditing, and the interview questions seemed to be fixed; some interviewees even knew the questions beforehand. If that's true, I think it's unfair.
The interview process at Grant Thornton typically involves multiple stages, including an initial phone screening, a behavioral interview, and a technical or case-based assessment. Candidates may also meet with managers or partners. The process emphasizes cultural fit, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, often concluding with a final round or offer discussion
