First step of the process was two 45 minute phone interview with Googlers. I felt they were very understanding through the process and guided me through parts when I was going a different direction.
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within 2 weeks. The first step in the interview process is two back to back technical interviews. They give you coding problems in your preferred language to type in a Google doc. They got back to me in a little over a week to let me know I would not be moving forward.
