HR did not bother highlighting visa constraints till the start of the call, which clearly meant a waste of time on both ends.
We ended in 5 minutes since there was nothing more to discuss - I couldn't even ask about hiring for a different geography since the HR personnel only knew region-specific practices.

Interview with each team member. Very friendly attitude and open to questions after interview. Both conversational and technical towards the position. After interviews HR reachedout to discuss offer. Answers have to be tailored to Google core values
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Feb 2023
Interview
Upon receipt of invite, I was required to:
1. Confirm interest
2. Share competing offer deadlines
3. Schedule a time with the scheduling team.
Interview format was two 45mins video sessions via Meet.
