I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Overall a mixed bag; people were either very friendly or felt like they were just there to do a favor to someone else and didn't care much about being there at all. While I can understand that interviewing a candidate may not be something that everyone is into, it is also true that one would expect at least a minimum of interest in the candidate answers. Instead it felt like they were not even waiting for the answer, as if their mind was already set independently from what you answer. The ones interested in you instead were very nice and talkative and asked good and interesting questions. And the follow up questions were engaging, and you could tell they cared about knowing what you mean with your answer and wanted to know more. Not that many tricky questions to be honest; I just ended up not moving forward with the opportunity as I found a different job where people were more interested in my profile.

TMy interview was smooth yet challenging, with a mix of technical and behavioral questions. It felt engaging, slightly nerve-wracking, but overall insightful, rewarding, and a great learning experience with unexpected yet fair questions.
