I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Globe Life (Alpharetta, GA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Someone reached out to me via text and set up a time for me to come in and discuss the opportunity. Prior to confirming the appointment for the interview I specifically asked if this was selling insurance to individuals and I was told it was an employee benefits specialist where you would be communicating with businesses to sell benefits for employees. Upon arriving I was guided into a room with 4 other people sitting in it filling out the "new hire paperwork". I was then pulled into another room for less than 5 minutes to "get to know me" after that I was pulled into a 3rd room in less than 10min of being there where there were 9 other people sitting waiting for a presentation of the company where they continued to filter people in until the room was full. I did not stay for the presentation; they were not upfront about the setting and were trying to get as many people as they could in a room to be agents.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No questions were asked, it was very bait and switch. It felt very misleading, they made it seem like it was a one-on-one interview when in reality it was just a seminar for you to sell insurance.
