One of the absolute worst processes I've ever been through. I had a recruiter reach out to me with a technical exam and then said I didn't have to actually take it. I did a one day 4-hour long interview process with 4 people from different Github teams and then was waiting for a team match which my recruiter assured I would "definitely get". I didn't hear anything for weeks and when I would reach out I would either get ghosted or get a response telling me that they're still looking for a team. Eventually, they shut down hiring completely and let me know via a very cold and impersonal email.
I really thought Github stood by the people they want to hire but my experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.
