I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Genesys (Waterloo, ON) in Feb 2014
Interview
As a co-op student applying for a full-time position, I was asked to engage in a phone interview with Genesys. The interviewer asked me about my past projects - both personal and professional - and then proceeded to ask me some brain teaser questions. It was mostly formal and direct - and I was hired shortly after the phone call.

Question 1
Explain how you went about completing your most recent side project.
The process was very smooth. Everybody was very kind and helpful, they checked what I know and not that what I didn't. There was 4 round. A basic HR round, the first round with the team, the homework and the review of the homework.

The on site interview was tough, but the interviewers helped if I didn’t know the exact syntax of an API or things like that. There was a relatively easy coding question at the end.
