I went through the recruiter screen and then the first virtual interview with the hiring manager. I thought that it went well, he mentioned that some of his team was out of the office but when they got back he would schedule a group interview with them. He gave me tips and everything to prep for that interview. Then I was completely ghosted by the recruiter. First, he said the hiring manager was out. Then he just stopped responding to me overall. I reached out to follow up several times. It was incredibly unprofessional and a sign to me that this is not a company that is worth working for. I am glad to say I landed someone else where the team values their interviewees’s time and effort.
