I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Warren, MI) in Jun 2016
Interview
Situation based interview, typical questions and followup on answers. First there is 30 min phone interview with hiring manager which is oriented around getting to know you better with respect to what you put on the resume. Then there is two hour onsite interview with two managers. Interview questions are relatively standard. Probably differ with position you are applying for.

I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Markham, ON)
Interview
Was contacted by the recruiter by email asking to setup a screening round with a senior employee. Had a behavioral round there after with panel of 2. They asked for behavioral questions and expected answer in STAR format. They said they will get back in a week haven't yet heard even after follow up. They have reopened the position on job portal. So I am ghosted I guess.
The interview was mostly behavioral questions. One round with HR and next with the hiring manager to better understand qualifications. GM has great benefits but there are times where you will have more than 2 managers. General Motors is not a stable company at the moment
