    Pros

Provides a lot of autonomy to pursue your interests. Cross functional teams that help you expand your knowledge and skills

    Cons

You feel some that are here for long are less productive and complacent. Company stuck with its current business infrastructure (dealership networks, unions, etc.) that is preventing it be a true tech company

    Advice to Management

Feel some hard workers may not be compensated accordingly

I have been working at General Motors (GM) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-One could coast here for years, especially if you don't stand out or become expensive. Once you become valuable though, they can't get rid of you fast enough, for fear of your experience and knowledge infecting others.

    Cons

-No code review structure -No versioning control or repositories -No documentations or content management systems -Everything tribal knowledge -"Talk to every NPC at least twice to move forward with quest" style work -Very happy to fire knowledgeable people to make the quarter look better -Management well meaning but the rot is from top down

    Advice to Management

Bail. Take your years of experience and find work elsewhere while the brand is still worth anything. Counting down the days until some scandalous disaster strikes.
