      Pros

Get to work on new vehicles There are some great people around Company as a whole is trying to do better and taking more chances on Innovation and encouraging being more exclusive.

      Cons

Old boys club - place is run by mostly older white men who started their carrers in the manufacturing plant pre-bankruptcy, which means promotions go to those who are part of the club, if you are not friends or family with the old boys - it will be hard for you to get promoted. Females and minorities will have a harder time here. Innovation projects are as a result treated as an assembly line and use manufacturing processes such as Lean Six Sigma to "innovate" for future products which often results in your work not ending up in production.

GM wonders why it cant attract skilled trades - take home pay is NOT competitive!

      Pros

ok hourly wage but not overly competitive - look around even the mom and pop shops pay pretty much the same as a OEM automotive manufacturer without half the hassles

      Cons

forced overtime, caps on earning, lack of tools and organization, no real union representation - unifor does NOTHING for us at this plant and gives away major concessions constantly without gaining ANYTHING for us - they don't even hold elections for representatives or chairpersons, they are just "selected" how corrupt is that?

      Pros

Ambitious vision Prestigious brand Attempt of transitioning to a software company

      Cons

Pressure from some leaders who have little or no background in software. Lots of good software people left while lots new members aren’t as qualified - time is wasted helping others and fixing bugs. Technical skills and contributions aren’t valued as much as behaviors - you won’t get promoted or valued by how much you work.
