This company reaches out every 12-24 months for an interview. They send over about 3-5 documents prior to the interview to review. Very lengthy documents and in the interview they are looking for you to answer questions verbatim from the document. They have internal group meetings once a week where they decide who moves forward.

Question 1
They want you to answer questions specifically about Gartner from the documents sent over. If you are a senior AE, this will feel like an early career interview where you're asked to pitch a product but not in a senior way.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner in May 2026
Interview
30 minute phone call with recruiter. Next is 1 hour with recruiter about your background, behavioral questions. Then 1 hour with LSA with questions on your background and a role play.
HR is very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. It can be a little confusing how they structure and and label their position but easily cleared up when talking in first rounds. They are professional and get back quickly. Overall a very positive experience.
