The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gartner (Mumbai) in Jan 2011
Interview
It is a very lengthy process. First they will call you (Phone Then call for an interview then the two Managers in RES will interview you. Then one round with Director Sunita Bolar.
Even the HR Payel Nath is very moody and has her own perceptions about the employees. Via phone call comes to the conclusion that a specific person cannot handle pressure and will not be able to survive.
They also are very biased toward personality. They want to hire good looking people.
The Director herself admitted that she acts NASTY during interviews.

Interview
It was a really well conducted - not so much by the HR as by the hiring managers who interviewed esp the case round. The case didn't need any background info but most of their cases seem to be talent/HR related though they say they are a tech/ research company.
