I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap in Sep 2013
Interview
I applied through my university and interviewed at the career center.
I applied online with a resume and cover letter, and scheduled an interview through my career center. I interviewed with two people for roughly 25 minutes each. The first part of the interview consisted of behavioral questions, and was very structured. The second part was more conversational, but still structured with behavioral questions. Both ladies were very nice and responsive, but did not give any feedback or ask any questions that weren't on their paper.
Tell me about a time where you had to start a project without any direction.
Why are you interested in retail?

Question 1
What would you look for in a puffy vests?
If I had 10,000 puffy vests how would I distribute them?
Made it through 2 rounds of interviews. First is more personal and 2nd is a project on creating a brand for GAP. Was told I had made it to final rounds, only to receive an email more than a month later that my application would actually not be moving forward. Rather unorganized and lengthy process.

What is a new trend you've noticed in the fashion industry?
I applied through university. I interviewed at Gap (New York, NY)
Interview
Resume drop on university career site, then assessment (math+culture), then phone interview with recruiter. The recruiter seemed very rushed and uninterested in what I had to say which threw me off and led to me delivering not as polished answers as I would have liked to. It left a bad impression on Gap.
