I found interviewing for Gallup to be incredibly frustrating. Initially, I was impressed. They acted quickly, granting me a phone interview and then an in-person interview. I thought both went quite well and deemed myself as having a good chance at getting the job. I was told they would get back to me soon with a decision. The next week I received a call saying that they were going to take a little more time to interview candidates, but they would have a decision in two weeks. I waited anxiously and two weeks later received a call from the hiring manager. They said they were still interviewing and would make a decision in two more weeks. This continued for over two months. Each time I was told that I was still in the running, fully under consideration, and to notify them if I received another offer. I began looking at other jobs on LinkedIn and noticed that they were repeatedly taking down their job postings and putting them back up, gaming the system to show that the jobs were "Recently posted" and only several others had applied. All false. As time went on, I got further into the application process for other jobs. Two and a half months after interviewing with Gallup I received another job offer. I reached out and told Gallup that I had received another offer, as they had asked me to. I never received a response. Radio silence. I was blown away by how rude and inconsiderate their hiring process was. I began the application process excited and impressed by the company and ended it, several months later, with a bad taste in my mouth and a negative view of Gallup.
