Interview
I was represented by a contractor for the role Test Automation to fill the temporary position, the contract was for 12 months and there were 2 round, both of them were virtual.

Question 1
1st round was pretty easy - They asked about my previous role, about myself and the python live coding session.
I cleared it and moved to the 2nd round which was virtual too.
2nd round was bit tough, It was for 2 hours, 80% of them was live coding session and the rest 20% was finding bugs or troubleshooting the code, behavioural question and last question was related to your ability of thinking.
From my end I have answered almost every question with correct answer 90% of them was correct and I had a very high hope to get selected for this position.
They replied I am good, they were impressed but they still want to interview other candidates. They took 2.5 months to decide and tell me that they won't be finalizing me.
I was so disappointed and felt like such a time waste.
The interview was very focused on Python and test conepts. There were coding and concepts questions. Some of the coding question you had to complete it and some were debugging.

2 interviews in total before an offer.
1st interview is a experience heavy self presentation of your relevant skills. You are selling your skillset to the hiring manager and showing work or projects that support your pitch.
2nd interview was with multiple technical experts and engineers. Q&A where they throw difficult and nuanced scenarios your way and have you reason out solutions. Very helpful to answer while alluding to previous experience where you dealt with similar technical issues.
