We sincerely apologise for the scheduling error that led to the miscommunication and caused you to wait unnecessarily. Unfortunately, our recruiter inadvertently set the Google Meet meeting to require the host's presence, and due to a misunderstanding, the interviewer was unaware that you were also waiting. This resulted in both parties waiting separately without realising the other was present.
We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been for you, especially after your initial interview. Our recruitment process is designed to be thorough and respectful of every candidate's time. Clearly, in this instance, we fell short of that standard. We have reviewed the situation internally and have taken steps to ensure that such errors do not occur in the future.
