I was advised there would be a 4 step process. 1) phone interview with recruiter 2) 1 hr interview with hiring manager via Skype 3) Another manager interview face to face 4) Marketing Director interview face to face.
I only managed to get to step 2, 100% of my questions for 1 hr was purely based on skills & experience. NO questions about my personality, aspirations or to assess if I would be a good cultural fit ect...
I eventually was told that they found another candidate with better skill set then me.
I personally thought that, for a company that seemed so innovative, forward thinking and prides itself of "culture", it was strange that they only had questions about pure skillset. very specific and technical down to "how do you create a pivot table" and "what would you use a pivot table for" and "what formulas can you do in excel".
