I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Epic in Jul 2024
Interview
Received a phone interview from an employee who directly works in the department I applied to. He was able to provide extensive amount of detail and information about the company culture, and the relevance that this department serves overall.
Following the phone interview, you may receive a technical assessment interview that has you answer math and problem solving questions, along with tests to see if you are competent in programming principles. You are also encouraged to complete a profile to assess your personality and cultural fit.

Interview
They got back to me a day later and asked to schedule a phone interview, which I ended up missing because I didn't account for the time difference (completely my fault). Luckily they reached out to me to reschedule. The phone interview was a standard interview process and I talked with someone working from the Division Operations team. They asked me about my experience/academic projects. One thing I will say is that their responses sounded like AI, as if they were reading off one of those programs that generates automated scripts for interviews. They were also very surprised I was hesitant about relocating and asked me why I was on the fence. Afterwards, I took the Rembrandt assessment (which I found random) and the Skills Assessment, which was quite difficult. I didn't think they would ask programming questions, but they did (these questions are what stumped me the most). They make you install a lockdown browser, and I believe certain sections are timed.
