I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2014
Interview
A recruiter from HR contacted me 2 years after I applied for an internship, the semester before I graduated. A phone screen told me about Epic and different positions available. Passing that, I was asked to take an online logic test which took about 2 hours. The travel department arranged to fly me to Madison and have dinner with an Epic employee and other candidates. The next day, all candidates met at HQ for a tour and overview of the company, then we split into smaller groups and individual interviews. I spoke with 2 people working in the position I applied for and had a final HR interview.

The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Interview
Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
