Your resume gets tossed around to different departments. There's not great communication after the fact. There is also no remote work option. You must move to North Carolina. They also made it seem like work life balance doesn't exist much within the company.
Applied online and about a week later got an email to setup a phone interview. The phone interview was really quick and what the position intels . Second interview was a Skype interview with three leads and pretty straight forward questions. Nothing asked out of the ordinary. It took about a month after that interview to hear back that they went with another candidate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic Games in Jan 2022
Interview
Pretty typical tech producer interview via zoom. I spoke with 2 people for 45 min on the initial screen. Then 10 more over 6 other calls for a full day of interviews. Other than being a draining day with a lot of talking, it was exactly on par with other AAA producer interviews that I have done. I think it was about 25% engineers and 75% producers that I spoke with.
Did I say it was a long day? Have some water or something handy.
The recruiter was nice and reasonable open in discussing salary expectations. Got me right to where I hoped for.

Question 1
Nothing out of the ordinary. A lot of scenario type questions, like "tell me about a time that you missed a deadline" type stuff.
