I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ecomtent (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Prepped for the interview and researched the company, booked a time slot to meet this one individual to only have the video call cancelled an hour or so before without any sort of follow-up.
I initiated myself and reached out to see if the role(s) were still available for hire in-hopes to actually get the opportunity to speak to someone. I was then given a new link to chose a slot, which was much later in the day late afternoon, with a completely different person.
Again, just minutes before the time slot I had carved out and picked, I received a cancellation email with a description that read exactly, "sorry, can't make it today", with again no follow up or option to reschedule time.
It was a waste of my own time and I genuinely did not feel valued at all in this process, whatever "process" happens here.
The interview was pretty straightforward with no real technical questions. They focused mainly on finding a cultural fit rather than assessing technical skills. Overall, it was a relatively easy process.
