      Sales and Marketing Coordinator Interview

      Jan 31, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EF (Education First)

      Interview

I had 2 interviews, a group interview and 1:1 interview. It was 6 people participating in a group interview (plus next day they had one more group interview since they had 2 positions). I don't know how many people went to the second round but me and a girl from the same group interview got job offer. 1:1 interview was not difficult, and I got no unexpected questions. After the second round they told me that they are going to have a couple more interviews and call me in a week. They called me one hour after I left their office and told I have got the job.

      Question 1

I got no unexpected questions. They asked me to explain a metaphor, but unfortunately I forgot what it was about.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EF (Education First) in Apr 2024

      Interview

I compleded an video interview were i had to answer 5 questions. The experience was overall stressful since I only had 45 seconds to answer, which isn't enough considering some of the questions length and depth. I only had 45 seconds to prepare my answers as well. Despite the time constraints, I endeavored to convey my enthusiasm for the role within those brief moments. However, the brevity of both response and preparation time made it challenging to delve into the depth and nuance required for each question. The questions themselves were touching on aspects crucial for success in sales roles, such as motivation, performance, success measurement, collaboration, and personal experiences. Yet, the rigid time frame allotted for responses hindered my ability to fully articulate my thoughts and experiences. Moreover, the time allocated for preparation felt inadequate. Forty-five seconds to formulate a coherent response to multifaceted inquiries did not allow for thorough reflection or strategic planning. As a result, I found myself rushing to organize my thoughts and unable to present them as comprehensively as I would have liked. While I appreciate the opportunity to participate in a video interview, I believe that extending the response time or allowing for a brief period of reflection before answering each question would greatly enhance the experience for candidates. This adjustment would not only enable individuals to showcase their qualifications and experiences more effectively but also provide a more accurate assessment of their suitability for the role.
