Applied and only got a response back from the recruiter after a shy of 4 months - no biggie. Recruiter set up a schedule for a phone interview then once on the call, he gave no chance for the candidate to explain their background or anything at all. How can he just go off a tangent then asks me questions in the beginning of the call when I have no idea who he is. It does not matter if doordash is that well known - at least try to sell the role and company. Also, on LinkedIn says remote but then recruiter tells me it is hybrid in the Chicago office. I should've said something but no point turning back - the offer would have been great anyways. The biggest downfall is having to do an excel project before going through the next round. Ended the call right away - big waste of time.
