The initial experience was perfect - the talent acquisition lead came across as personable, warm, interested and genuine and we had an in depth conversation about me, my experience, what I could bring, what the role entails and what Diageo culture is like. This raised my expectations but sadly it went downhill from there. I got promised a further meeting, and have followed up several times and it's been absolute silence. It's a pity because my initial experience was so good and I was excited to see the rest of the process play out. I see a lot of similar comments so they really need to improve their communication and feedback system when it comes to candidates.
