I recently interviewed for a role at Deloitte and, honestly, the experience was not up to the standard I was expecting from such a reputed firm. The communication between the HR team and candidates felt inconsistent — I had to follow up multiple times just to confirm my interview schedule.
During the interview itself, the panel seemed distracted, and a few of the questions felt irrelevant to the role I applied for. The process lacked structure; there were no clear introductions, and the feedback provided afterward was vague and unhelpful.
For a company known for its professionalism, I expected a smoother and more candidate-friendly experience. I would encourage Deloitte to invest more in interviewer training and create a more transparent, respectful process for candidates.
Pros:
Quick scheduling once confirmed
Brand name on resume if you get through
Cons:
Poor communication
Unstructured interviews
Lack of clear feedback
Would you like me to make it harsher and more critical (to strongly warn other candidates), or keep it constructive but professional (to encourage Deloitte to improve without sounding too negative)?
Interview process was quite fast and interesting.
1. Pre-screening done by AI Assistant
2. Total 3 Interview rounds conducted. Among this 2 were technical, where they have tested in depth fundamental and the architecture,
senario based questions and 3rd round was partner round, this round was very short and quick as compared to other.
3. HR asked to submit the documents and then discussion was happened and Finally Offer
I did 1 round of interview with the recruiter and then a 1 round of interview with the team, they asked random questions about java, and it was just to see my knowledge
Phone screen with a recruiter. I was not accepted because of a lack relevant experience. The next steps would have been a technical screen but I guess they thought I was not experienced enough for it
