Steps:
1. Create 2 minute video intro (Why Decathlon, Favorite sports, why this position etc)
2. A group of candidates were invited for recruitment day, 20 -30 people
3. 6 minute presentation (select sport category, business proposal & analysis) - half were cut
4. Interview with Hiring Manager & executive (Understanding of sports category and interest)
5. Interview with other team manager & executive (Situational questions)
6. 2 - 3 candidates asked to go down to meet team & activities, casual interview some more
- End of the day (nigh time), received call that pass to meet with Director, but weeks later...
7. Asked for reference
8. Supply Chain Test (18-20 questions, not too difficult, mixed questions include calculations, logic test, scenario test, forecast etc.)
Whole recruitment process managed by hiring manager not HR team, which was a bit weird but good as you skip a middle person. It was quite lengthy considering this position does not specifically required any direct experience. Everything was good up to end of recruitment day. Considering that candidate went through so many rounds and even done follow ups, there was no reply after last engagement was quite disappointing.
Realized that the position is sort of forever green as the job posting continued beyond the recruitment day. They are probably replacing people or expanding.
