      Senior Executive Business Partner Interview

      Mar 19, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Oakland, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Credit Karma (Oakland, CA) in Feb 2026

      Interview

Don't waste your time with their cumbersome interview process! Applied, did the phone screen. Met with an admin. Second interview met with two admins simultaneously. Third interview met with a product manager. Afterwards I was moved for an onsite interview consisting of meeting with another admin, 1 admin I previously chatted with and lastly the exec that I would have been supporting. Everything was finalized and the Friday before, I was informed that I would have to do another interview with another exec. After that, I withdrew from the process. A recruiter (that I had never spoken with) reached out asking why I was withdrawing which I shared the interview process is lengthy. He then basically begged for me to meet with the exec because she was the hiring manager and the role would be primarily supporting her. That was another surprise as that exec was never mentioned in my interviews. The recruiter explained there were some changes. I agreed to meet with her but via Zoom as I was traveling. The recruiter sent the follow up email with the RCs cc'd asking for my availability, which I provided. That was almost two weeks ago and it has been radio silence. As of today, March 19, I see the role has been reposted. I'm grateful this didn't work out.
