I started off with the recruiter screening which went well. I was told to wait for a week so the recruiter can present my profile to the team. I got ghosted and i checked my application status still under review. I emailed the recruiter no response.

Six hours of scripted problems in a zoom call of six developers paired with questions that didn't even allow me to share my experience as a SQL Developer. The entire process ended up being a frustrating experience that didn't make much sense given the position.

Question 1

A jogger is running through a tunnel at a speed of 5 mph. He is 5/8 of the way through the tunnel when he hears a train approaching from behind. If he continues running forward (the remaining 3/8 of the tunnel), the train will reach the tunnel's entrance just as he exits. If he turns around and runs back (the 5/8 of the tunnel), the train will reach the tunnel's entrance just as he returns there. We need to determine the speed of the train.
