I interviewed at Concordia University Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI)
Interview
“The interview process was structured and straightforward. It began with an initial screening, where they verified my background and basic qualifications. After that, I had a technical round focused on troubleshooting, customer-service scenarios, and role-based skills. The final step was an HR discussion covering my communication skills, availability, and cultural fit. Overall, the process was smooth, well-organized, and each round helped them understand both my technical ability and how I approach real-world problems.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly focused on my problem-solving skills. The most important question they asked me was to explain a difficult issue I faced and how I resolved it. I highlighted how I diagnosed the problem, the actions I took, and the positive outcome.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Concordia University Wisconsin in Jul 2025
Interview
They were really communicative at first when it came to scheduling my interview. The director of the department handled everything, and I appreciated how organized it was. My first interview was with a panel of four staff members who asked a set of questions. They were thorough and asked about my background, how I’d apply my skills to the role, and how my faith would play into it. The college’s mission and faith-based culture came up a lot. I followed up a week later and was invited to a second interview, which was more focused on whether I’d be a good fit with the college’s mission. Again, there was a strong emphasis on faith and the school’s values.
I followed up again with the director a week after that and never heard back. It felt hypocritical after they'd put so much emphasis on faith and being a witness, but couldn’t extend the basic courtesy of letting me know they’d moved on in the hiring process.
