CIS has recently been acquired by the much-larger consulting firm Deloitte. While I can't fairly speak to the quality of the organization or its primary staff, I will volunteer that the internal HR recruiter I interacted with was very unprofessional. She contacted me several weeks after I applied for an open position and I had several phone screenings with HR and leadership of the department in which the position was located. These screenings were held in quick succession and all occurred in the span of a week. They seemed to progress very well with the indication that my candidacy was moving forward.
Then - nothing. I attempted to contact the HR recruiter several times via both e-mail and phone over the ensuing month. After being ignored for 4 weeks, I finally received a form letter indicating that they'd gone another direction. Fine - I'm not complaining about their decision, but rather the complete lack of response from a supposedly professional recruiter who sought me out. I've worked with several recruiters in the past, but never one who was so completely unresponsive during an ongoing screening process.
Bottom line - this company is growing, but be aware that they are clearly having growing pains with regards to the ability of HR to properly screen candidates for new and vacant positions.
