One on one with the person in the department who did the hiring and also the person who did the class scheduling.Then they told me what I would be teaching and I said, "ok, thanks!"

Interview
I was initially scouted by a full time faculty member. I was hired on his recommendation only. After one semester all adjunct faculty go through an evaluation process. This involves a review of syllabus and all course materials. It also includes an in class observation by a full time faculty member. Finally there is a meeting with the chair of the department.
