It was easy and fun. the head of the search committee was friendly and open. He asked interesting questions and seemed to genuinely care about me as a candidate and as a person

There is a background check and an interview. I interviewed with 2 people, one who became my immediate boss, and one who works in the department. The questions were very standardized, so you know they are asking the same questions of everyone. It was a really good experience.
