Got a link to an online assessment within a few days of applying. The coding assessment is on their product and is 90 minutes. I wasn't able to start on the last question. Overall okay experience
Before even arranging a screening interview, they expect you to complete an assesment within their own product. I was ok with this until discovering that I was expected to provide a picture of my passport as part of the process.
In all I wasted an hour on their practice assesment before discovering this and withdrawing from the process.
I applied online. I interviewed at CodeSignal in Nov 2025
Interview
The first step was taking an online skill assessment using their own product. The product itself is pretty impressive, and they provide test assessments you can take in advance to get yourself acquainted with the platform. If you're used to working in an IDE with an agent it should feel very familiar. The actual assessment was timed (1 hour I believe), and my suggestion would be to defer any optimization until the end, to avoid running out of time. The first tasks are easier than the last tasks.
