Interview
You have an interview with an AI, which is awkward and dehumanizing. But it's their platform, so I figured "okay." A month went by with no word, and I received a second assessment for the job and was asked about my age right off the bat, which is not only illegal but also sealed the deal for me. I dropped out of the process from there. If I'm never going to speak to a human, much less be treated like one, it's not the job for me.

Question 1
Tell me about a project you managed from beginning to end and what were the results.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CodeSignal in Apr 2026
Interview
My interview process started with a LinkedIn message from a recruiter. I completed a sales assessment, then spoke with the CRO, followed by conversations with two hiring managers, and wrapped up with a final presentation. The process was very thorough. Everyone I met took time to answer all of my questions about the role, the team, and the company. I left each conversation with a clear understanding of what the opportunity entailed and what success would look like.

Interview
The interview processes seemed well managed from recruiter's point of view. The initial test was assigment on their platform, that was however a bit bugy (Intellisense for TS stopped working) making it frustrating. The following round was algorithmic, though limited to just 45m, what can cause (and for me did), too much stress and making silly mistakes. IMO this more tests people skilled in interviewing, which may filter a lot of otherwise great developers.
