I applied online. I interviewed at Co-op (Thorngumbald, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was welcomed into the store and greeted by the store manager, who took me to the office for my interview, he was polite and friendly and made me feel comfortable, he asked me the questions from your email and then some general character questions, he checked if I needed any more information or if I had any questions, It was a great interview and I enjoyed finding out more about the role.

Interview
Very impersonal. All done online and the logic between what constitutes a good or bad answer is totally unidentifiable. You would have better luck turning up in person and asking if you can hand in your CV and interview in person instead!

The interview process was very easy and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and made it feel more like a friendly, comfortable conversation than a formal interview. As well as one of the best interviews I've actually had.
