I had a great experience throughout the interview process. There’s two interviews - one conducted by a member of HR and another conducted by two members of Citi working in different areas of the branch you are joining. They were very friendly and offered lots of information about the work life and opportunities at Citi.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Ran through my CV and experience, asked me questions about challenging situations or issues I have faced and how I overcame them. Nothing ridiculous or out of the ordinary.
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Mar 2011
Interview
Had an on campus interview, but never received a call back from HR. Received an email 2-3 weeks later asking me to come in for a Super Day in 2 days. Super Day consisted of two 1 on 1 interviews with people within Operations (Managers, Analysts, etc) at the ICG office at 388 Greenwich Street. Interview process wasn't a bad experience, but the HR was very slow and do not often respond to emails.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2018
Interview
Search the website online and find out the vacancy and apply online, and get the online assessment passed, then get the telephone interview. It took three weeks to get the chance of interview and 1 week to get the offer.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Citi
Interview
Two 30-minute interviews. Both were mostly behavioral. Lot of questions about past experiences (e.g. challenges that required confidence, challenges you overcame and how). The first person I interviewed with was nice, but didn't try to make it a casual and comfortable experience, however the second person I met with aimed to do that.
